El jueves, 17 de febrero de 2023, el Departamento de Educación Agrícola del Colegio de Ciencias Agrícolas, participó en el CTE Career Expo and Career Show en el Centro de Convenciones de Puerto Rico. La actividad se realizó como parte de las actividades que celebra la Secretaria Auxiliar del Departamento de Educación para el mes de febrero, mes dedicado a la educación ocupacional y técnica. Hubo participación de escuelas primarias y secundarias del país.
El Departamento de Educación Agrícola, estuvo representado por las doctoras Edly Santiago Andino, Janitza Saavedra Lugo y estudiantes subgraduados del departamento para orientar a maestros y estudiantes de escuelas públicas, sobre los ofrecimientos que tiene el departamento y el Colegio de Ciencias Agrícolas en la Universidad de Puerto Rico, Recinto de Mayagüez.
On Thursday, February 17, 2023, the Department of Agricultural Education of the College of Agricultural Sciences participated in the CTE Career Expo and Career Show at the Puerto Rico Convention Center. The activity was carried out as part of the activities celebrated by the Assistant Secretary of the Department of Education for the month of February, a month dedicated to occupational and technical education. There was participation from primary and secondary schools in the country.
The Department of Agricultural Education was represented by doctors Edly Santiago Andino, Janitza Saavedra Lugo and undergraduate students of the department to guide teachers and students of public schools on the offers that the department and the College of Agricultural Sciences have at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus.
