PerceptionWare is an innovative technology startup dedicated to building wearable solution to daily problems. Its vision is to keep seeking the problems of people who have any kind of disadvantage and help them. Its mission is to provide wearable technology as a solution for many of their problems, making people’s lives easier. The team is composed of a variety of creative minds from Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science students that developed H.E.A.R., a wearable alerting device for deaf people. This device detects fire alarms, sirens and car horn and makes different vibrations depending on the sound. This can help the deaf community to react in emergencies.
