The Water Protectors is going to have its first official screening in Rincón on Saturday, December 20 at 6:00 p.m. in Rincón’s plaza. It will be shown with the main film un Pueblo de Coral by ISER Caribe.
The Water Protectors has also been selected for el Festival de Cine y Derechos Humanos de Vieques. The screenings will take place in Vieques from March 20 to the 22. See the list of selected films for more information.
The Water Protectors is a short documentary film by Carhianie Vargas Padín produced by the Oral History Lab in collaboration with the Blue Water Task Force of Surfrider Foundation Rincón and the Humanities Action Lab with funding from the Mellon Foundation.
