Mission

Provide leadership for the planning and implementation of student learning outcomes assessments, assisting in the review of academic programs, university evaluation, and assessment-related training. Create and maintain a systematic assessment culture dedicated to promoting continuous improvement of academic programs and administrative offices while meeting the standards of various accrediting agencies.

Promote academic and administrative excellence and improve student learning through a culture of evidence-based decision-making and continuous improvement.

The College of Business Administration is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) and is in the process of obtaining AACSB accreditation.

Objectives

Ensure compliance with the quality standards proposed by accrediting agencies.

Ensure the maintenance of an up-to-date record of the Faculty’s intellectual contributions.

Maintain complete and up-to-date information on the academic and professional achievements of all members of the Faculty.

Periodically inform the Dean about progress on each of the standards proposed by the accrediting agencies.

Coordinate with the other offices, committees and staff of the College of Business Administration all necessary actions to ensure compliance with the standards of the different accrediting agencies.

Foster a culture of continuous learning improvement.

Maintain up-to-date assessment plans for graduate and undergraduate programs.

Develop and implement a periodic and systematic assessment cycle in line with the requirements of the different learning assessment standards.

Provide information to the Faculty on progress in the different aspects of the appraisal.

Encourage changes in teaching methods by discussing the results of learning assessments.

Periodically review the mission of the College of Business Administration, as well as the goals and objectives of the graduate and undergraduate programs.

Provide communication channels and relevant information to the external advisory committee of the College of Business Administration.
