Analysis and Programming Unit is an essential part of the Information Systems Office at Mayaguez Campus. Created with the purpose of developing agile and cutting-edge technology application that facilitate the academic and administrative processes in information management.
Among the services offered by this unit is:
- Applications development
This service is offered to academic and administrative dependencies of the campus.
System development is limited to applications on platforms and technologies supported by Information Technology Center.
- Portal UPRM
- RUMAD System
They are currently working on replacing the existing systems in the Portal and RUMAD platforms. For this reason, no new applications are developed in this platforms. Any development exclusively on the RUMAD platform is subject to certifications.
- Modification of applications
This service of modifications in the current systems is for the most part due to changes in the processes, Circulars or Certifications. Others basically due to maintenance in general.
Applications supported by Information Technology Center have an office on campus designated as custodian of the same. Any modification to these applications must be requested through the Information Technology Center service request system at the address: http://www.uprm.edu/cti/solicitud-de-servicios/, by the dependency custodian unit of the system, for example Registration, Admissions, Finance among others.
