The OHL has produced and compiled some helpful resources that might provide insight into what we do and facilitate trauma-informed approaches to oral history, including:
- A comprehensive reading list on post-disaster oral history compiled from OHL Director Ricia Chansky’s essay, “Oral History and the Climate Crisis: Listening in the Aftermath of Disaster.”
- A video tutorial where OHL director Ricia Chansky discusses cocreation through participatory design.
- Recordings from OHL presentations at the Oral History Association’s 2026 virtual symposium Trauma-Informed Interviewing, Reckoning & Beyond (available to OHA members).
