Application Requirements

The Mechanical Engineering department has specific requirements for new and transfer student’s admission. Here you will find information regarding these requirements.

New Students (High School):

In order to join the Mechanical Engineering Program at UPRM, you need to follow the steps required by the University for all majors. Be sure to check the IGS for the past year, as it will give insight into what the current year’s IGS will look like. Both internal and external transfer students have to comply with the general rules of transfer stated by the University. These rules are reviewed on a yearly basis before the application period.
