This year, we enthusiastically celebrated the return of our UPRM Hacks 2024 camp in a hybrid format! Over three consecutive Saturdays, from June 8th to June 22nd, students explored and showcased their skills in the exciting realms of computer science and software engineering.

Using the MIT App Inventor platform (appinventor.mit.edu), they learned to design and create impressive mobile apps that captivated friends and family. This experience not only helped them develop technical skills but also allowed them to explore various aspects of computer science and software engineering, guiding them towards making informed decisions about their academic and professional futures.

It was a unique opportunity for them to transform ideas into digital reality and explore the potential of creative programming. We are thrilled to have shared this experience at UPRM Hacks 2024 and look forward to future editions filled with innovation and learning!
