Program Objectives

In general, the undergraduate program has two major objectives that respond to the mission of the program.

Those are:

◦To provide society with mechanical engineering graduates with the broad scientific and technical knowledge and skills to enable them to work professionally in areas of analysis, design and realization of mechanical and thermal systems.

◦To provide the structured environment needed to facilitate the search for and understanding of scientific knowledge while providing a flexible atmosphere that promotes creativity and innovation among students, faculty and staff in constant search for new knowledge.
