Postdoctoral Research Opening
Processing of Concentrated Emulsions
Department of Macromolecular Science and Engineering
Case Western Reserve University
The Department of Macromolecular Science and Engineering of Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, Ohio) announces the immediate availability of an interdisciplinary postdoctoral research opening in the area of fundamentals of the formation of concentrated emulsions and their rheology and stability. This position is open to individuals who hold a Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science and Engineering, etc.) and is expected to be initially a 12-month appointment. Candidates who have an established research record in areas relevant to emulsions microstructure, rheology, and stability are encouraged to apply. The specific goals of the project are to study the key parameters which govern the composition, dynamics, and processing of concentrated emulsions and their potential subsequent polymerization. The project is co-directed by Professors Donald Feke, Stuart Rowan and Ica Manas-Zloczower.
Further inquiries and application materials (curriculum vitae, descriptions of research interests, and a list of references) should be sent electronically to Professor Ica Manas-Zloczower, Department of Macromolecular Science and Engineering, Case Western Reserve University, at (ixm@case.edu)
Case Western Reserve University is an Affirmative Action/ Equal Opportunity employer. Applications from women and under-represented minorities are encouraged.
