Biondi – Associate Principal, Applied Technology & Management, Chairman, PIANC Recreational Navigation Commission; and Diego Delgado Tamariz – Engineering Associate, Applied Technology & Management.
Coastal Resilience in PracticeThis webinar seeks to convey a general approach to resilient coastal planning and construction, emphasizing professional experience in private practice. This presentation combines more than 20 years of experience of the engineer Esteban L. Biondi in studies and coastal projects in the region, with the observations of Diego A. Delgado Tamariz, a graduate of the UPRM – Department of Civil Engineering. Will present the basis of a practical analysis methodology used to quantify coastal vulnerability and design adaptation works. Real examples will be offered in which the impacts of hurricanes were studied and evaluated solutions to adapt the projects to climate change. |
