Manufacturing

Manufacturing engineers are involved in the manufacturing process from planning to the packaging of finished products, using tools such as robots, controllers, and systems to improve facilities assembly, packaging and shipping. They also examine the flow and process of manufacturing, looking for ways to streamline production, improve delivery and reduce costs. In research, the work of a manufacturing engineer is to find methods and systems to produce more efficient and economical processes.
