Micro & Nano Engineering
Nano engineering is a branch of engineering, which uses nanotechnology to design products and systems at the nanoscale. Its name originates from the nanometer, a unit of equivalent measures one meter divided billion times (at 10x ^ -9 in scientific notation). Micro / Nano Engineers research work includes working with matter at the nanometer scale with techniques that guarantee the repeatability of the processes and / or desired properties. Some areas of research are nano structures, computational studies in nano channels, nano motors and nano fluidic systems.
