MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Candidates are sought for a post-doctoral research position through the University of Delaware, for a collaborative project with NIST and industrial partners, focused on applications of neutron science to fundamental and applied problems related to protein stability, interfacial science, and rheology.

The position is for one year and is renewable based on performance and availability of funding. The position includes benefits (http://www.udel.edu/hr/Benefits_09_web.pdf) and a competitive salary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ph.D. in Biophysics, Biochemistry, Biochemical Engineering, or related disciplines; experience with scattering techniques and protein characterization is preferred. Abilities and interest in supporting multiple, team-based collaborations across multi-disciplinary industrial and academic groups is a major focus of the position. Strong technical and inter-personal and communication skills are required.
