Abstract:
The purpose of this presentation is to facilitate answering some of the questions students have during the job hunting process. How to search for jobs in the Medical Device and Pharmaceutical Industry? What to expect during a job interview? What are the basics Do’s and Don’ts? How to better prepare myself for a job interview? What other skills can help me be on top of the crowd during the job hunting and interview process? A certification, training and/or knowledge in Project Management, FDA’s Code of Federal Regulation for Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals and Combination Products, Lean Six Sigma, Process Automation and Process Analytical Technology (PAT) can give you the tools and advantage to exceed expectations during a job interview. The basic concepts of PAT will also be discussed since it offers the opportunity to integrate the project management, regulatory, lean six sigma and process automation components to assure the quality and continuous release of Finished Good Products. Process Analytical Technology provides an opportunity to move from the current “testing to document quality” paradigm to a “Continuous Quality Assurance” paradigm that can improve our ability to ensure quality was “built in” or was “by design.” This is the ultimate realization of the true spirit of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
