PhD’s Student in Chemical Engineering

Joined the lab: January 2024

Education:

  • B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering, Universidad del Atlántico, Barranquilla, Colombia (2014-2020)

Research Interests:
Chemical engineer graduated with a meritorious thesis from the University of Atlántico. I developed my degree project on synthesizing silver nanoparticles from agro-industrial waste, which allowed me to publish an article in the Engineering Journal of the University of Antioquia. This work was also presented as a paper at the Congress of Chemical Engineering Students of Guatemala in 2020. Subsequently, I worked as a laboratory analyst at Bureau Veritas, where I developed analytical techniques for the characterization of hydrocarbons, such as gas chromatography, ion chromatography, and atomic absorption spectroscopy. During my professional experience, I participated in processes of accreditation and validation of analytical methods under ISO/IEC 17025, strengthening my technical profile in sample handling, data analysis, and quality control in highly demanding environments.
