*** Mechanics and Rheology of Particle Suspensions ***
We anticipate an opening for a postdoctoral Research Associate to carry out independent theoretical and computational research at the particle and continuum level on the mechanics and rheology of particle suspensions. This will be a one-year appointment, with reappointment possible for one additional year. We invite applications now, so that we can proceed quickly as soon as the position is officially authorized by the University. The preferred start date is September 1, with an August 1 start date possible. The project is jointly supervised by Morton Denn and Jeffrey Morris.
Qualifications: A PhD in physics, mathematics, physical chemistry, materials science, engineering, or a related field, with an outstanding record of accomplishment. Availability to start on September 1, 2012 is desirable.
