The BioMaRT Lab proudly participated in ENGICHEM 2025 – The Future of Research and Industry, a symposium that brought together researchers, students, and industry professionals in chemical engineering and related fields.
During the poster session, members of the BioMaRT team presented their research projects:
- Kently Ruiz Mojica (Summer High School Student): pH-Dependent Adsorption of EVs from FBS and HEK293T-CM on TiO₂ Microspheres
- Deisy Jiménez: Surface Change of Extracellular Matrix-Bound Vesicles: A Key Step for their Integration into Biomaterials
- María José Buendía Otero: Aerosolizable Formulations of Porcine Extracellular Matrix with Antibacterial and Immunomodulatory Effects
- Jesús Jiménez: Development of a TiO₂-Based Adsorption Platform for Direct Capture of Secretome-Associated Biomarkers as a Non-Invasive Tool to Monitor MSC Culture Status
- María del Carmen Ramos Álamo: Tissue-Specific Extracellular Vesicle Uptake and Its Role in Fibroblast Differentiation
In addition, Dr. Camilo A. Mora participated in the F.I.R.E. Panel (Future of Industry, Research & Engineering), contributing to discussions on innovation and the future of research and industry.
We also thank Kently Ruiz Ortiz for sharing photographs from the event.
We are proud of the BioMaRT team for their outstanding participation and representation at ENGICHEM 2025.
