Programs of Study

The Industrial Engineering Department three plans  within two graduate programs options. The major difference between plans is the experience that the student gain by being expose to a wider amount of courses related to Industrial Engineering, by working on a thesis, or a project.


Plan I: Master of Sciences in Industrial Engineering, with Thesis

This program is designed to provide the student with a deeper education in his or her area of interest by requiring an original thesis. At the same time, it provides scientific investigation experience under the industrial engineering areas. This option is intended to prepare the student to continue doctoral studies.


Plan II: Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering, with Project

This program offers the student the opportunity to profound in different areas of Industrial Engineering and to develop some investigation competence. It is require that the student develop and present a project applied to his or her area of specialization.

Plan III: Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering

This program is design for active professionals in the industry that at the same time want to expand their knowledge in the industrial engineering area. Students applying for this option will have to take more graduate courses.
