Cabo Rojo is located in the extreme southwest of Puerto Rico. It is bordered to the north by Mayagüez and Hormigueros; to the south with the Caribbean Sea, to the west with El Canal de la Mona and to the east with Hormigueros, San Germán and Lajas.
