Members of the BioMaRT Lab participated in outreach visits to Centro Residencial de Oportunidades Educativas de Mayagüez (CROEM) and Southwestern Educational Society School (SESO), sharing research experiences and introducing students to STEM and bioengineering concepts.
During the activities, Master’s student Valeria De La Rosa contributed to interactive demonstrations and discussions focused on making science more accessible and engaging for students interested in research and engineering. In addition, Kently Ruiz Mojica, a student from CROEM and former summer student in our lab, presented the research project he developed during his summer experience at BioMaRT.
We are proud to support initiatives that encourage scientific curiosity and inspire future generations in STEM.
