On March 28, 2017, Dr. Lydia Rivera Vargas, ECaFSS Project Director, visited the University of Puerto Rico – Aguadilla Campus to offer the conference Phytoplasmas: pathogenic bacteria inhabiting the plant’s phloem. The activity was organized by Dr. Yadira Malavez to provide students information about agricultural related research performed at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus. More than 100 people assisted to the activity, including undergraduate students and faculty.
