The Graduate Committee of the English Department wishes to announce that the policy pertaining to the Comprehensive Examination degree completion option (”Option III”) has been modified. The revised policy (May 2023) updates the October 08 version circulated last semester and the prior version included in the Graduate Student Handbook (August 2008 and prior editions). The document has been sent via e-mail to all faculty and graduate students, and can also be obtained here, along with the revised version of the Comprehensive Exam Study Guide.
