The Department of English awards a Master of Arts in English Education (MAEE) with offerings in Applied Linguistics, Literature, and Pedagogy with an emphasis in Bilingual Education. The Department of English also offers the Master of Arts in English Literatures (MAEL) with offerings in British, American, Anglophone Caribbean, British Post-Colonial, and Puerto Rican Literatures in English.
