On April 8th, the seventh annual Out Loud! Festival will be taking place with over 100 students participating from the Advanced English course sequence. The event demonstrates students’ critical thinking through creative works and all projects tie back to the course curriculum. Over 600 members of the university community, family, and guests attend the festival each year.

A gallery exhibition of drawings, paintings, three-dimensional works, short films, and other digital media, as well as creative writing and academic essays, will be featured in Chardón-326 from 8:00am to 4:00pm. A series of music, dance, and theatrical performances will be held in Figueroa-Chapel amphitheater from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

The English Department Student Association (EDSA) will host a bake sale at the gallery exhibition throughout the day and during the evening performances. There will be a book swap in the gallery, too, so bring your books for free exchange.

This event is free and open to the public.
