Marci Denesiuk is a Canadian writer with a background in journalism and creative writing. Her recent publications include the Voice of Witness book Mi María: Surviving the Storm, Voices from Puerto Rico (Haymarket, 2021), and an article in Unheard Voices of the Pandemic also produced by Voice of Witness and Haymarket Books. Her award-winning fiction includes a book of short stories, which has recently been published in French. In addition, her work has appeared in anthologies, academic journals, magazines, and special projects. She holds an MA in Creative Writing and English Literature from Concordia University in Montreal, and is currently completing a Graduate Certificate in Educational Technologies from the University of British Columbia (expected April, 2023).
