Professor Morales Caro joined the English Department, as a student in August, 1984. She studied the BA and MA at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez. In 1999 she returned from the University of Texas at Austin with a Ph.D. She was born in New York but raised in New Jersey. She currently lives in Rincon. Regularly, she teaches Public Speaking and Intermediate English. Currently, she is part of Civis-resource center and the Accreditation Liaison Officer for the Middle States Council for Higher Education and the Coordinator of the Middle States team at UPRM and she is also the Director of OMCA- Office of Continuous Improvement and Assessment.
