The members of EDSA posing the Superhero Saturday which was hosted at the Children’s Library in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. The books were all related to superheroes, and the crafts included making their own superhero masks, wrist cuffs, and chest plates.

EDSA hosted their ‘’Sabado de superheros’’ at the Mayagüez Children’s Library.

The event was very successful, with around 45 children attending. The volunteers attended each group circle of children, reading to them, helping them out with crafts, and providing snacks. The books were all related to superheroes, and the crafts included making their own superhero masks, wrist cuffs, and chest plates. Thankfully, all the children were very well-behaved and happy to participate in the activities that were planned out for them. Parents were happy, children had fun, and the volunteers got to enjoy the event as well, as both the children and volunteers alike took the time to dress up as their favorite superheroes (or super villain). This was one of hopefully many events that will take place at the Children’s Library, as they are frequent collaborators with EDSA.

You can check out more photos of the event on the EDSA Facebook page here.
