Professional Enrichment Center (CEP)

The CEP aims to expose teaching staff dedicated to teaching as well as graduate students to various educational strategies that promote university academic excellence from the perspectives of effectiveness and quality in teaching for better student academic achievement. The Center covers all aspects of professional development including teaching, learning, assessment and research. Our goal is to create a community of well-prepared and motivated individuals that contribute to the academic excellence of the institution. This includes creating a concerted and multifaceted effort to promote and increase the activity and research culture of UPRM.

Graduate Research and Innovation Center (GRIC)

GRIC, is a creative space that fosters collaboration and innovation, where graduate students and the faculty of RUM can meet to develop projects and receive support in specialized services in the research process, academic communication, research methodology and data management, among others.

English Writing Center (EWC)

Students of the Mayagüez University Campus can now count on a new service for writing support and oral communication in English. The English Writing Center is a refuge for English language learners and writers, regardless of their level of proficiency or proficiency in the writing process.

The center has completely bilingual tutors and extensive experience in the different academic areas, who offer individualized tutorials, conversational English sessions and a variety of workshops focused on areas of greater difficulty in writing typically seen. Its goal is to help students writers of any academic discipline to be even better writers in the future.
