General Requirements
In order to be a candidate for admission to graduate studies at the RUM, you must have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, good command of Spanish and English and one of the following indices for your bachelor’s degree (on a scale where A = 4.00):
- general graduation rate of 2.50 or more;
- general specialty index of 3.00 or more;
- index of 3.00 or more in a minimum of 60 credits approved during the last five semesters of undergraduate studies
The Departmental Graduate Committee may exempt those applicants who have a higher degree than the bachelor’s degree from the minimum general index requirement. The Office of Graduate Studies will determine the equivalence of other scoring systems based on the WES scales.
