The Center for Operational Oceanographic and Products and Services is hiring a ZP3 Oceanographer to sit in our new Coastal Hazards Branch in the Oceanographic Division and be a part of our Applications and Analysis Team. The candidate would support senior researchers with development of coastal inundation prediction and outlook products and services on climate timescales through the use of coastal observations and models.
This position is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with world class research and coastal management staff in NOAA, other federal agencies, and academia to improve preparedness and resilience of communities along our dynamic coasts. The position is located in Silver Spring, MD and is open to any qualified members of the public, including current federal employees from all agencies. Applications are due October 13.
